Cameron Bloomfield, the Director and Founder of Dovetail Developments, was exposed to construction sites from a young age, so it was no surprise when his passion for property began to evolve from researching to investing, then developing.
To date, Cameron has being involved in completing 10 projects (40 dwellings) across Brisbane and Melbourne, returning $1.94 million in profit to investors. His projects include a 15 apartment development in Auchenflower QLD (whereby Cameron and the project were subsequently featured in the Australian Property Investor Magazine) and a 17 townhouse project in Salisbury QLD.
Cameron is currently leading 8 developments (73 dwellings) across Melbourne to the value of $40.8 million, with a further 27 dwellings presently in design/planning phase. This includes, ‘The Belle Apartments’ a boutique project of 17 apartments and ‘Charlotte’s Mews’ a 14 townhouse development both situated in Melbourne’s East. Complimenting his passion for property, Cameron's background consists of a Bachelor in Business Marketing and eBusiness, with 8 years experience in advertising (APN and Yahoo!7) prior to moving into Developing full-time.
Like all successful business leaders, spare time is an elusive luxury. However, Cameron ensures to make time for his daily training and regular competing in triathlon & Ironman 70.3 events across Australia. His highly-driven and motivated nature has an outlet in athletic excellence, with the mental stamina required proving to be an invaluable asset for business.
Cameron enjoys playing golf with his clients and consultants. With 2 hole in ones made during his junior years, he continues to seek the illustrious 3rd. However, he acknowledges that it has been a long time between drinks!
Led by Cameron Bloomfield’s example, Dovetail’s mission is to change people's lives through property, and we welcome connecting with like-minded companies and individuals who share the same values and interests.
